Greg Anderson is one of the founders of DEA Lawyers and an experienced litigator with a strong focus on building disputes.
Greg commenced his legal career at a leading and highly regarded suburban law firm, where he gained extensive experience across a broad range of litigation matters over a decade of practice.
He then spent several years at a specialist boutique firm in the Sydney CBD, where he developed expertise in strata and community title disputes, with a strong emphasis on complex building defect disputes.
Greg has a detailed understanding of how buildings are constructed and, importantly, how and why defects occur. This practical knowledge enables him to work effectively with all stakeholders in diagnosing defects and pursuing or defending claims. He has been involved in many leading cases in building defects litigation for owners corporations, setting legal precedents that apply to this day.
He is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the High Court of Australia and has acted in litigation across most jurisdictions in New South Wales.
Greg regularly presents papers and conducts training for strata managers, industry experts and fellow legal practitioners on strata and community title disputes and building defect litigation.
